Everyday Speech
THE WEBINAR

eLuma Speech-Language Pathologists share how they find virtual content and prepare for sessions. They will discuss the qualities of valuable content and how to collaborate with teachers, clinicians, and families to maximize the time with students.

Brittany and Cal Brunell, the founders of Everyday Speech, will highlight how to close the gap between research in social-emotional learning and resources. They will discuss the effectiveness of video modeling, incorporating technology, and compiling curriculums.

THE SPEAKERS

Cal Brunell is the cofounder of Everyday Speech, a digital social-emotional learning curriculum focused on teaching foundational skills to learners k-12. Cal collaborated with Speech-Language Pathologists, a video and animation team, and a web development team to incorporate the latest research into a curriculum that was as comprehensive as it gets.

Brittany Brunell, a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, is the co-founder of Everyday Speech. In 2012, when she was frustrated with the make-shift materials and curriculums she designed Everyday Speech to close the gap between the latest research in social-emotional learning and existing resources.

Rachel Keener lives in Virginia and is an Indy yarn dyer. She designs knitwear patterns, teaches knitting classes, and enjoys all things knitting related. Her bulldogs Paisley, Rosie, and Duke, are her constant companions.

Megan Beaver is a Speech-Language Pathologist at eLuma Online Therapy. She has been an eLuma telepractioner for more than 3-years and is currently a Team Lead. She loves spending time with her family and the outdoors.

Erin Nelson grew up on the east coast but moved to Colorado 10 years ago because the mountains' beauty inspired her. She has two young children, and she loves to watch them learn and explore. She enjoys crafting, reading, and working in her garden!
